(KFVS) - Dense fog advisories are in effect for much of the Heartland until 9 a.m.
Visibility is less than one-quarter to one-half mile in many locations.
Drivers are advised to be cautious and to increase travel time during the morning commute due to foggy conditions.
Widespread showers and pockets of heavy rain are also likely during the morning commute.
Rain becomes more scattered by this afternoon and isolated by late this evening.
The weekend is trending drier with mild afternoon highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.
There will also be some sunshine.
Another round of soggy weather arrives Monday into Tuesday ahead of a cold front.
Thanksgiving is looking dry, but much colder.
Highs by the end of next week will be in the low 40s with lows in the 20s.
