One person was hospitalized with burns following a camper explosion Thursday in Marshall County, according to published reports.

The explosion came on Ridgeview Lane of Roberts Ridge Road.

The initial call came to Marshall County dispatchers sometime after 5p.m. Thursday and the fire was under control by 6:15 p.m.

The victim was taken by ambulance to a burn center in Pittsburgh. Responding agencies included Roberts Ridge VFD, Moundsville VFD, Washington Lands VFD, Marshall County EMS, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Marshall County Emergency Management Agency.
