Celtic have slammed "disruptive" individuals after fans walked out of a chaotic AGM. The meeting with shareholders had to be brought to a sudden end following the "unacceptable and hugely disappointing" conduct from fans.
The Parkhead board suffered a frosty reception and a chorus of boos as the top decision makers joined the table, with Peter Lawwell forced to adjourn the meeting.
Fans also held up red cards and shouted "sack the board" as the Celtic chiefs walked off the stage for an intermission. When the meeting resumed 30 minutes later, it was again shut down following a speech from Ross Desmond on behalf of his father Dermot Desmond , Celtic's largest single shareholder, reports the Daily Record .
