Pavement repairs associated with stabilizing a slope under a recently realigned stretch of I-75 in Rossford will close two of three lanes Saturday, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced Friday.
State officials expect the double-lane closing to cause “significant travel delays” and urged motorists to consider alternative routes.
Southbound I-75’s left and center lanes will be closed starting at 6 a.m. on the DiSalle Bridge over the Maumee River. Traffic will narrow to a single lane, and the entrance from Miami Street will also be closed, officials said.
The work is expected to be done by 6 p.m. Saturday.
The slope stabilization has been ongoing since September, but until now has involved only nighttime lane and ramp closings. It involves an embankment built late last decade at
