Police are hunting for a bald suspect after a man was left injured in a violent attack in Rutherglen . The incident happened around 7pm on Saturday, November 15, on Curtis Avenue.

A 33-year-old man was assaulted , and a quantity of money was taken from him. Police have described the suspect as white, around 5ft 5in tall, around 25 years old, of medium build, and bald.

He was wearing a grey tracksuit, black body warmer, and a black skip cap. Police say it is "vital" that he is tracked down.

Detective Constable Ross Burgess said: “This was a violent attack which left the victim with injuries, and it is vital we trace the individual responsible.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to please come forward.
