COLUMBUS, Ohio — Four people were hospitalized following a police chase involving a stolen vehicle on the city’s northeast side, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
According to a public safety dispatcher, the crash happened in the area of Sunbury and Stelzer roads around 11:55 a.m.
The dispatcher said the crash stemmed from a police chase involving a stolen vehicle. Two vehicles were involved in the crash, including the stolen vehicle. The other vehicle was not a police cruiser.
Two people were taken to Mount Carmel East hospital and two other people were taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital. The dispatcher said three of the four people hospitalized were in “stable” condition. There was no information about the fourth person’s condition.
