LOWELL, Ore. - Authorities responded early last Saturday to a report of an individual threatening several people with a handgun before fleeing the scene, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
LCSO officials said that deputies responded at 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 15 to the 400 block of Carol Street in Lowell. A suspect, identified as 33-year-old Marcquis Andrew Lee White fled the scene in a vehicle, allegedly brandished and threatened several people with a gun before leaving the scene, sheriff’s officials said. Authorities said deputies launched a large-scale search involving an armored rescue vehicle, drone, and K9 unit. His vehicle was found crashed nearby with a firearm inside, deputies said.
