ALTA, Iowa (KTIV) - Crews were sent to a train derailment Friday morning in Buena Vista County, Iowa, where there were reports of train cars tipping over.

The derailment happened between Alta and Storm Lake, Iowa, along Highway 7. That train is reportedly on a Canadian National Railway line. KTIV is waiting to hear back from the company.

Traffic on Highway 7 is not being affected. No word yet on any injuries.
