HUNTINGTON, Ind. (WPTA) - State Sen. Andy Zay (R-Huntington) confirmed Friday he is among the victims of a recent pattern of “swatting” incidents involving members of the Indiana General Assembly.
A statement from Zay’s office says his Huntington business was targeted with a bomb threat on Thursday.
“Yesterday, my business in Huntington was targeted with a bomb threat, which is part of the recent troubling pattern against lawmakers in Indiana,” Zay’s statement reads. “It’s unfortunate that my family and I continue to be threatened for my work as a public servant and state senator.”
“This is no way to weigh in on any public issue, even if you do not agree with my stance.”
