GOOSE CREEK — An 18-year-old student at Stratford High School was found with two loaded firearms on campus, according to the Goose Creek Police Department.

The guns were found the morning of Nov. 20 during a random student search using a weapon screener by the Berkeley County School District’s Security and Emergency Management team, according to an incident report by the Goose Creek Police Department.

The school was placed on hold while the screening was taking place, said Katie Tanner, a district spokesperson.
