FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Traffic pattern changes will be coming to the I-469 and U.S. 24 interchange this weekend.
Construction crews plan to switch southbound traffic back to the southbound side of I-469 from Stellhorn Road to U.S. 24, starting Saturday.
Next week, they plan to remove the barrier wall on the northbound side of I-469 with hopes of reopening the southbound I-469 exit ramp to eastbound U.S. 24 on Monday. Once it is open, traffic using the southbound exit ramp from I-469 to Rose Avenue will not be able to turn left to eastbound U.S. 24.
All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to use caution while in the area while traffic adjusts to the traffic pattern changes.
