(KBTX) - Both Texas A&M head football coach Mike Elko and athletic director Trev Alberts have inked deals that will keep them in Aggieland through 2031.

Friday, A&M announced a new six-year contract for Alberts, following approval from the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents hours earlier. The Regents also approved Elko’s new deal, which was announced after the Aggies’ win over South Carolina on Saturday.

Any further details of both deals have yet to be released.

In a statement, Alberts thanked the Regents, Chancellor Glenn Hegar and Interim President Tommy Williams.
