Palisades High School student arrested after showing weapon at school bus stop

The principal at Palisades High School in southwest Charlotte says a student was arrested Thursday morning after showing a gun to other students at a school bus stop.

In a letter to parents, the principal says all safety protocols were followed and the weapon was confiscated.

There is no ongoing threat to students or staff.
