ROCKFORD, Ill. (WREX) — The holiday season is fast approaching, and so are local holiday parades and events. Here's a list to keep you caught up on what's happening in the Stateline.

Nov. 28

Grand Lighted Holiday Parade in Beloit

The parade route begins at Grand Avenue and Third Street and ends at Grand Avenue and College Street before Horace White Park.

5 p.m. - Live music at First National Bank Plaza, 345 E. Grand Ave.

6 p.m. - Santa arrives for tree lighting at FNB Plaza

6 p.m. - Fireworks show and parade

After the parade, there will be photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus at FNB Plaza.
