For the most part, Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are sitting pretty right now. They are 9-1 and have won five games in a row, with their one loss coming against the Indiana Hoosiers on Oct. 11. But they have a marquee matchup with the USC Trojans on tap for Saturday, and it could ultimately determine their College Football Playoff trajectory.

Currently, Oregon is seventh in the CFP rankings. USC comes in at 15th, so as of right now, the Trojans are on the outside looking in. But that could all change with a win at Eugene this weekend.
