LYON COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) – A major crash on the Kansas Turnpike north of Matfield Green closed both the north and southbound lanes of I-35 for most of the day Friday.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. Friday around the 119-mile marker on northbound I-35 in Lyon County.
