PORTLAND, Ore. — What's the appropriate and ethical use of AI? It's a big question , and one that Nik Blosser is tasked with solving as Oregon's first-ever Chief Privacy Officer and AI Strategist. He spoke to KGW this week about what those new titles entail.
Blosser's family is in the wine business, and he grew up on a winery before going to run as a software company. He also served as chief of staff to former Oregon Gov. Kate Brown and stepped into his latest role about two and a half months ago.
