MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio – An intoxicated Strongsville man, 50, was taken to Southwest General Health Center on Bagley Road, then cited, after he crashed his Chevrolet pickup truck on Webster Road near Sprague Road.
A resident called police at about 2:30 a.m. Nov. 8 after hearing a loud noise in front of her home. She looked outside and saw the Strongsville man lying on the ground outside the pickup truck.
When police arrived, they observed the truck off the side of the road in a wooded area. The man was conscious, alert and in pain. Paramedics arrived and took the man to Southwest.
Police went to Southwest to check on the man, who was being examined for possible head and back injuries. They smelled alcohol on his breath. He slurred his words and his eyes were glassy.
