MINNEAPOLIS — Moorhead couldn't find an answer for Chase Bjorgaard, so Edina is the Minnesota Class 6A high school football champion.

The Hornets beat the Spuds 42-35 Friday night at U.S. Bank Stadium behind the senior running back's six touchdowns and 320 yards rushing in Prep Bowl XLIII.

The six TDs tied a Prep Bowl record held by several others.

Bjorgaard's big day overcame a stellar offensive performance by Moorhead quarterback Jett Feeney and a Spuds' offense that tallied 492 total yards.

Feeney finished 29 of 39 passing for 373 yards and two touchdowns, setting a Prep Bowl record for most passing yards.
