NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man is facing charges after he was accused of stabbing his girlfriend at a Nashville apartment on Friday afternoon, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
MNPD said 58-year-old Charles Williams has been charged with attempted homicide for the stabbing.
The victim reportedly told police Williams, who is her boyfriend of three years, showed up at her apartment drunk and began arguing with her.
During the argument, Williams began attacking her with a kitchen knife, stabbing her face and neck, MNPD said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threating injuries.
Williams is being held at the Davidson County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
