SHREVEPORT, La. — The KTBS 3 studios buzzed with citizen scientists Saturday as the station hosted its annual Fall Weather Watcher School, putting another successful class in the books.
More than 80 weather enthusiasts from across the ArkLaTex signed up for the session, gathering for coffee and pastries before the program officially began. Station Manager George Sirven welcomed the group, followed by KTBS 3 Chief Meteorologist Patrick Dennis, who addressed the importance of the Weather Watcher program, the role of the KTBS MEGA 3 Storm Team , and the soon-to-be-launched Willis-Knighton MEGA 3 Live Doppler Radar .
