Actor Lewis Cope has revealed that he 'never imagined' reaching Blackpool following his whirlwind start on Strictly Come Dancing .

The ex-Emmerdale actor joined the popular dance show later than most this year, not being included in the original line-up announced by the BBC back in August, prior to the 2025 series kick-off in September.

Lewis, who portrayed Nicky Milligan in the ITV soap from 2022 to 2024, was called up after Kristian Nairn had to pull out of the forthcoming series, which at the time was just weeks away from launching.
