Clayton Police responded to two traffic accidents in the city over the past week, both of which resulted in no injuries. The first occurred on November 15 at the intersection of Pine Hollow Road and Mt. Zion at 10:41 p.m. The second took place on November 17 at Oakhurst Drive and Indian Head Way just after 1 a.m.
Officers also made several arrests during the same period. Early on November 15, a driver was stopped on Ygnacio Valley Road for vehicle code violations and later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, along with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful paraphernalia. He was taken to the Concord Police Department for booking.
