ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - It has been four years since Tonya Musskopf’s daughter and grandchild, Kaitlyn Anderson and Jaxx, died. Now she is helping expecting and grieving mothers with her charity, “Kait’s Love for Jaxx Foundation.”
“When you lose a child, it’s a club nobody wants to be in, but unfortunately, when you’re in it, that’s all you have,” Musskopf said.
Musskopf’s daughter, Kaitlyn, 25, was a MODOT worker who was working on the side of the road when she and two other MODOT employees were struck by a car. She died as a result of the accident.
She was six months pregnant with Jaxx.
“Sometimes it’s easier to believe she’s on vacation or at work and be home next week, but then next week comes and the reality sinks in, she’s never coming back,” Musskopf said. “I decided I
