A developer has submitted plans to refurbish and redesign a former job centre in the heart of Derby , putting it back into use after nearly eight years with no signs of life.

T&T Assets Group has appointed JSA to lead the architectural transformation of Forester House, the former Derby job centre that has stood empty since 2017, after planning applications were recently submitted.

They want to create 73 apartments at the site and hope to put nature first, with plans to install "living walls" that climb the height of the building, which lies in Becket Street near Vaillant Live .
