Crayons are usually reserved for arts and crafts, but one New York driver is accused of using them for something far less innocent, according to state police. New York State Police reported that on Nov. 20, troopers stopped a vehicle for having license plates that belonged to a different car. During the stop, officers immediately noticed something unusual.
Hand-drawn stickers on windshield
Troopers saw what appeared to be the vehicle’s inspection and registration stickers displayed on the windshield - but none of them were official. Upon closer review, the stickers looked to be hand-drawn using a mix of pen, marker, and crayon.
“As a friendly reminder, arts and crafts supplies do not count as valid documentation,” troopers wrote in a Facebook post.
