Police say thieves broke into a refrigerated truck parked along Red Lion Road in Northeast Philadelphia early Monday. NBC10’s Lili Zheng has details.

A truck driver trying to catch a little sleep after driving to the region from Nebraska was awoken by the sounds of a dozen thieves rummaging through his vehicle, stealing frozen meat in Northeast Philly, early Monday, police say.

According to police, at about 2 a.m. on Monday, a refrigerated truck driver, parked near the intersection of Norcom and Red Lion roads in Northeast Philly, was awoken after hearing a commotion in the back of his vehicle.
