CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two men were shot, one fatally, on the West Side Sunday night, Chicago police said.
The shooting took place at about 9:06 p.m. in the 1200-block of South Independence Boulevard.

Police said a 33-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were inside a vehicle when someone on the street took out a gun and fired in their direction.
The 33-year-old man was wounded multiple times and transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The 23-year-old man was wounded in the buttocks and transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition.
No one is in custody and Area Four detectives are investigating.
