Two people are dead and multiple are injured after a shooting in Downtown Dallas early Monday morning, according to police.
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance call around 2 a.m. in the 2000 block of Commerce St.
"I can confirm an officer-involved shooting occurred," a spokesperson with DPD said.
The spokesperson said multiple people were shot at the scene. The suspect shot and killed a victim and the suspect was shot and killed by police, CBS News Texas confirmed.
The suspect and one victim are dead, DPD said. Several injured people were taken to a local hospital. DPD didn't say how many were transported. No police officers were injured.
