LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - AAA is offering its free Tow-to-Go service during the Thanksgiving holiday period.

The service runs from Wednesday to Monday and provides free towing for drivers who have had too much to drink and cannot drive home safely. AAA will tow both the driver and their vehicle to a safe location within 10 miles at no charge.

The program aims to keep drunk drivers off the road during the holiday period.

Drivers do not need to be AAA members to use the service, but the company says it should only be used as a last resort.
