HOUSTON, Texas – An investigation is underway after a man was found dead in a donation box in north Harris County Monday morning.

Deputies with Mark Herman’s Precinct 4 Office responded to reports of a man being trapped inside a donation box located at 6535 N Grand Parkway West.

When first responders and deputies found the box, they said they attempted to remove the man, but later found that he was dead.

It’s not clear if the man died while in the box or was dead before; deputies are investigating.
