Two firefighters and two residents were injured in a fire on Sunday morning in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The Manchester Fire Department said they responded to a report of a fire on the corner of Maple and Amherst streets around 8:40 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, firefighters confirmed that there was a building fire on the first floor of a two-story occupied multi-family home.

Firefighters made entry into the front door, pushing into an extremely hot, smoke-filled apartment.

They received multiple reports of people trapped on the first and second floor, so they made an aggressive push into the areas reported to have victims. They searched the building and knocked down the fire but found no victims inside.
