Interior high school hockey had an exciting week, starting with crosstown rivalries, a visit from Tri-Valley, and ending with three Interior teams taking on the Wasilla Warriors.

Delta 3, North Pole 10

The Patriots hosted the Huskies in a D2 Aurora Conference matchup at the Polar Ice Center in North Pole Tuesday night.

After a close first period with the game score at 0-1 in favor of the Patriots, a wild second period followed with a total of eight goals scored and five penalties committed.

North Pole jumped out to end the second period 2-7.

Things settled down in the third with both teams putting goals up, with a final score of 3-10 in favor of the Patriots.
