COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Warmer than average temperatures stick around for a few more days. Much cooler and drier air moves in Thanksgiving and stays with us through Saturday.

After the highs being in the mid to upper 70s for Monday and Tuesday, showers and storms Monday night into Tuesday night will bring cooler weather for the rest of the week.

Rain on Tuesday could be more persistent near and above I-85. A couple storms could bring pockets of strong winds Tuesday night and during the pre-dawn hours Wednesday. Rainfall totals should generally range from a quarter inch to one inch.

Clouds gradually decrease Wednesday. Most of the day will be dry and breezy. Highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s before the effects of a cold front are felt. Much cooler air moves in Wednesday night.
