Former Celtic player and coach Darren O'Dea's interim managerial stint at Swansea City has ended, following the appointment of new head coach Vitor Matos.
The former Republic of Ireland international joined fellow Irishman Alan Sheehan's backroom staff as assistant manager, though the latter was sacked just six months into his tenure.
O'Dea took charge of the Welsh side's match against Bristol City at Ashton Gate, which they lost 3-0. On Monday afternoon, the former Maritimo boss was announced as Sheehan's permanent replacement, with O'Dea's departure confirmed alongside Mato's appointment.
