HAMPTON, Va. — No one was hurt after a fire broke out inside a Hampton home early Monday morning, Hampton Fire and Rescue said.
The fire happened in the 30 block of Harris Landing Road around 4:13 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find everyone had gotten outside of the building safely. Crews knocked the fire down within about 15 minutes, and it was confirmed as being out by 4:47 a.m.
While the cause of the fire is currently under investigation, Hampton Fire and Rescue said it appears to be accidental in nature.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents.
