LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It’s a Christmas tradition that puts Louisville on the map.

Light’s Under Louisville is a drive-through, underground Christmas experience at the Louisville Mega Cavern that allows you to go under the Derby City for a ride you won't forget.

It’s back for its 18th year, and it's more festive and brighter than ever.

Charles Park, executive vice president of Louisville Mega Cavern, told WHAS11 News its 1.3 miles long.

He wanted to bring back the sentiment of the holiday season.

"Classic Christmas is the nostalgia of Christmas miracle on 21st Street, Christmas trees, going back to the old Christmas family traditions," Park said.

He said the trail is covered in displays that require new technology.
