Cowgirls and cowboys from across Idaho, Nevada, and Utah crowned the 101-year-old Caldwell Night Rodeo with the prestigious award of Idaho’s Top Large Rodeo of the Year.
The distinction was voted on by competitors across the three states within the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). CNR accepted the award earlier this month at the PRCA Wilderness Circuit Finals in Heber City, Utah, according to a CNR press release.
Held on the third week in August each year, CNR draws over 50,000 people from across the nation to its rodeo grounds located at 2301 Blaine St. and is ranked among the top rodeos nationwide, according to the press release. The rodeo’s website states the five-night outdoor rodeo featur
