LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Friday, hundreds of deputy clerks packed up all the food they had collected to support Dare to Care.
The Jefferson Circuit Court Clerk’s Office was collecting food for a month and each week brought a new theme to encourage neighbors so they would donate a variety of goods.
From canned goods to cereal, the clerks gathered over 40 boxes of food to help local families celebrate the holidays with full bellies.
“Thankful,” Jefferson County Circuit Court Clerk David Nicholson said. “Very thankful as we go into Thanksgiving to give back to the community. The courthouse is a tough place to work.
