A record 81.8 million people are projected by AAA to travel at least 50 miles from home over the extended Thanksgiving holiday period, Tuesday through Monday.

This year’s domestic travel forecast includes 1.6 million more travelers compared to last Thanksgiving, setting a new overall record.
