ALLEN, NEW YORK. (WFSB) - A shooting in New York claimed the life of a Connecticut man and his brother on Sunday night.
At around 10:06 p.m. troopers were called to the area of Botsford Hollow Road in Allen, New York after a report of a disturbance, according to New York State Police.
When crews arrived on scene, they found two people dead inside of a residence.
Following an investigation, it was revealed that three brothers were staying at a hunting cabin on Botsford Hollow Road when an altercation began.
One of the brothers then called 911 for help.
Police said during this incident, 65-year-old Scot D. Thompson of Englewood, Florida shot and killed both of his brothers with a rifle.
Officials identified the victims as 70-year-old Mark B. Thompson of Canterbury and 69-year-old David
