A man has died after being hit by a car in Maghull . Emergency services were called to Station Road at the junction with Tailors Lane just before 7am on Wednesday, October 22, after reports of a crash involving a black Range Rover Velar and a male pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 51-year-old man from Maghull, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died on Friday, November 7. A 64-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and remains under investigation on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and driving while unfit.
