The last batch of tickets to see the annual New Year’s Eve fireworks display in London has been released for sale on Monday.
The fireworks ceremony will take place on the bank of the River Thames , stretching from Lambeth Bridge to Blackfriars Bridge, which will be closed off by City Hall.
Only those who have purchased tickets will be able to gain access to the viewing area.
This year, prices have gone up for non-Londoners to ensure better security and crowd management.
Tickets for London residents will be on sale for £20 and £35, but non-Londoners will have to pay an increased rate of £40 and £55, depending on the ticket tier they purchase.
According to the mayor’s office, the price increase is to comply with Martyn’s Law, which was established after the Manchester Arena terrorist
