The head football coach of an undefeated high school football team has gone missing.

The Virginia State Police have officially listed Travis Turner, 46, as a missing person. Turner, the coach of the 12-0 Union High School football team in Big Gap, Virginia, was last seen on Nov. 20.

According to WCYB-TV in Bristol , troopers went to Turner’s residence near Appalachia to respond to a non-criminal complaint on Nov. 20, but he was not home.

Search efforts across Wise County near the western tip of the state continued into Monday. Ground crews are using K-9 units and drones in the search.

Turner has been the football coach at Union since 2011, according to the TV station.

The Bears went 11-0 during the regular season and defeated Graham High School 12-0 in the first round of the playoff
