KEARNEY, Mo - A grand opening ceremony is tomorrow for the Clay County Sheriff's Office's new Law Enforcement Resource Center.

The event will run from 10 am to 3 pm at the training center on Northeast 116th Street in Kearney. Local first responders, elected officials, municipal leaders, and county staff are invited to attend. For security purposes the event isn't open to the general public.

The Law Enforcement Resource Center features an indoor shooting range, a classroom for up to 60 people, and training spaces. It will allow the Clay County Sheriff's Office to meet the training requirements needed to better serve the community.
