2Wilkes-Barre man arrested after foot chase found with stolen Social Security card

WILKES-BARRE, PA – A 32-year-old man wanted on outstanding warrants was arrested Sunday morning in Wilkes-Barre after fleeing from officers and was later found to be in possession of a stolen Social Security card.

Police say that on November 23 at approximately 8:45 a.m., officers patrolling North River Street spotted Andrew Goins, a known wanted subject, walking in the area. When officers approached him, Goins fled on foot toward North Franklin Street. After a brief pursuit, he was apprehended without further incident.
