SHEPHERDSTOWN - Shepherd women's soccer coach Sam O'Dell believes his team has a chance to go far in the Division II tournament, even win a national championship.
On Sunday, the Rams' quest for a title started off on the right foot, as they shut out Gannon 4-0 in the NCAA II Atlantic Regional tournament, advancing to next week's regional championship against West Chester.
"We want to win the national championship - that's the goal. I think we're in a really good position to do that," he said. "We've got to take each opponent as it comes, but now, it's four games to win the natty, and that starts with West Chester next weekend."
