NEW ORLEANS — Bourbon Street will soon be transformed into a place for reflection and remembrance as the one-year anniversary of the Jan. 1 terror attack approaches.

This is where 14 people lost their lives and more than 50 others were injured when a truck driven by a self-proclaimed terrorist plowed into New Year's crowds one year ago.

A temporary memorial called "Second Line in the Sky" aims to help the French Quarter community and victims' families heal.

Katy Casbarian from Arnaud's Restaurant came up with the concept.

"I had the idea to put a tribute together to tie it into the holiday time to give people an opportunity to come down, see an amazing creative display and have some time to reflect on what happened and honor the victims," Casbarian said.
