TOLEDO, Ohio — A Canadian man was sentenced to three years in prison on Friday after he admitted to possessing 90 pounds of MDMA, also known as ecstasy, with intent to distribute after federal agents discovered the drugs concealed in a vehicle at an Ohio Turnpike service plaza.

Dontavius Forbes, 27, pleaded guilty in June to possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. After Forbes completes his sentence, he will be deported to Canada, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio.
