DAVIESS COUNTY, Ken. (WFIE) - The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office has placed a new radar trailer on U.S. 60 West after hearing community concerns about speeding.

Daviess County officials say these changes come after they had seen in increase in crashes and deaths.

The new radar trailer will be mobile and will be moved to high-speed locations across Daviess County, depending on the need.

Officials say they hope this radar trailer will make people more aware of their driving habits.

“It just kinda gets your attention and just reminds you to slow you down. That’s what we want people to do. We want people to see it and just look down, are they going too fast, if so, slow down and just remind people to slow down and be safe,” says Daviess County Sherriff, Brad Youngman.
